I wrote this poem in some downtime here in Bryson City. It’s in the style of Charles Bukowski, since for some reason the only book I brought was one of his poetry. Who would have thought that the only book store in a small North Carolina town would only have books on religion and southern pride, and a large collection of homemade crafts?
